1. PRIVACY BY ARCHITECTURE

Pythia ("we", "us") follows a data-minimization approach. We do not access or collect your personal files, calendars, or private communications.

2. DATA PROCESSING & CLOUD STORAGE

2.1. Cloud Persistence (24/7 Functionality)

To enable "Always-On" background updates across multiple platforms (Mobile, Desktop, TV), we process and store the following data in a secure cloud environment:

  • Encrypted API Keys: Stored in a secure vault (AES-256) solely to authenticate autonomous requests on your behalf.
  • Context Snapshot: The generalized location name (City/District) and weather context for the current generation cycle.

2.2. Location Data (The "Local-First" Approach)

We offer an optional feature to detect your location for automatic weather updates. If you enable this:

  • Local Resolution: Your precise GPS coordinates are processed locally on your device. We utilize authorized third-party geocoding providers to convert these coordinates into a general location name (e.g., "Paris").
  • Data Transmission: Pythia servers receive only the resulting city or region name. We do not collect or store your GPS coordinates.
  • Third-Party Providers: The reverse-geocoding process involves third-party providers whose data processing is governed by their respective privacy policies.
  • Local Cache: A temporary cache of your location context may be stored locally on your device to optimize performance.

2.3. User Interaction Signals (R&D)

We collect your "Likes," "Dislikes," and manual edits to style parameters.

Purpose: This data is used for Research and Development (R&D) to improve the artistic quality of our "Visual Weather" engine.

3. PUBLIC SHARING (USER-DIRECTED)

If you actively choose to share your generated images via our public platforms (e.g., pythia.pics) or social features:

  • Public Visibility: The shared images become publicly accessible. Other users may view, download, and interact with them.
  • Marketing: With your consent (granted upon first share), we may feature these images in our marketing materials.
  • Control: You control which images are shared. You can manage your sharing preferences in the application settings.

4. FILE STORAGE

  • Originals: High-resolution original image files generated by the Service are stored locally on your device.
  • Cloud Copies: We store optimized (compressed) versions of your images in the cloud to enable synchronization between your devices.

5. SECURITY (THE PERSONAL VAULT)

Your API keys are encrypted and used only to authorize the agent's actions as per your settings. We never use your personal credentials for Company-led compute or tasks.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7. CCPA COMPLIANCE (CALIFORNIA)

We comply with the CCPA. We do not sell your personal information. California residents may request access or deletion of their technical data via support.
