Terms of Service

3.1. Purpose of Cloud Storage (24/7 Autonomy)

To provide Level 4 Autonomy (autonomous updates), the Service stores your encrypted API keys and generation parameters in a secure cloud environment. This is necessary to ensure the Service can generate and synchronize media across your devices (e.g., Android, Windows, Smart TV) even when your primary device is offline.

3.2. Exclusive Use

Your keys are used strictly to fulfill your requests. The Company is prohibited from using your keys for its own tasks or third-party research.

3.3. Billing Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all usage fees and compliance with your AI Provider's terms. Pythia is not liable for costs incurred via your API key.

4.1. User Content & Storage

You retain ownership of images generated via your API key, subject to your AI Provider's terms.

Storage Policy: Please note that the original, full-quality high-resolution generated files are stored exclusively on your local devices.

Cloud Copies: The Service retains only optimized, compressed versions (with potential loss of quality) of your content in the cloud for synchronization and preview purposes. We do not guarantee indefinite cloud storage of your original high-fidelity assets.

4.2. License for Service Improvement

You grant Pythia a worldwide, royalty-free license to use your User Contributions (Generated Content, Likes/Dislikes, and Manual Parameter Adjustments) strictly for the purposes of:

• Synchronizing content across your devices;
• Research and Development (R&D): refining our generative engine and "Visual Weather" logic to better solve aesthetic and contextual tasks for the user.

4.3. Public Sharing Mandate (pythia.pics)

You may voluntarily elect to publish specific generated images or automatically publish all images you mark with a "Like" to our public showcase platform (e.g., pythia.pics).

• Grant of Rights: By initiating such sharing, you explicitly mandate and grant Pythia a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, allow third-party downloads of, and promote these specific assets on our public galleries, social media channels, and marketing materials.
• Public Nature: You acknowledge that assets shared under this mandate will be visible to the public and subject to social interactions (likes, shares) by other users.
• Consent Mechanism: This specific right is granted via an opt-in confirmation dialogue presented during your first sharing action. You may revoke this mandate for future generations in your settings.

5.1. Optional Device Location

The Service may request access to your Device Location to automatically determine the weather and geographical context. Using this feature is strictly optional and can be disabled at any time.

5.2. Local Processing Principle

We adhere to a strict data minimization policy regarding location:

• On-Device Geocoding: The conversion of precise GPS coordinates into a semantic location name (e.g., "Brooklyn, NY") is performed locally on your device or via direct communication from your device to third-party geocoding providers.
• No GPS on Backend: Pythia's backend services receive only the normalized text label (City/Region) required for image generation. We do not receive, process, or store your precise latitude and longitude coordinates.

5.3. Local Caching

To improve performance and reduce API calls, the Service may store a temporary cache of your location context locally on your device. This data remains under your control and is cleared when you clear the application's local storage.
